Report of a drunk driver on 13th Street. The man had been drinking at work. A party notified police of a Suburban driven by a troubled man with no plates. Two vehicle head-on collision on Brunner Road. One person was thrown from vehicle. Woman said ex boyfriend keeps texting and harassing her.
May 15
Report of a missing woman who had early dementia that may have wandered away from home. She was later located and taken to a hospital for observation.
May 16
Report of a fake $100 bill passed at a casino. Report of a double barreled shotgun found at a local business. A missing 5-year-old was found by the reporting party. Report of a pair of binoculars stolen from an unlocked truck. Report of people from the Community Market on another person’s property. A person “sold” a car, but hadn’t received payment.
May 17
Report of a woman’s boyfriend assaulting an 8-year-old girl. Two debit cards found in a damaged ATM machine at Whitefish Credit Union. Report of a male passed out on Nucleus Avenue. Two loose boxer dogs were scaring kids trying to walk home from school. A store owner wasn’t happy that three kids — two age 10 and another age 6 were running around the store with no parents around breaking things.
May 18
A large, black pit bull was disrupting soccer practice by chasing the ball and the kids. ATM vandalized at WFCU. When people put their card in the machine, it fell into it. Railroad crossing arms were down, but there wasn’t a train to be seen.
May 19
A friendly pit bull was running around Second Avenue. A woman called worried about suicide threats from a relative. Someone found a debit card at Park Side Credit Union. An 8-year-old that had been missing for two hours was found OK. A woman who seemed “out of it” was tracked down by police and taken to the hospital.
May 20
Report of an underage girl from back East who may have had a sexual relationship with a high school student. Dumpster divers were stealing stuff from the Thrift Store. Police returned a stolen bike to its rightful owner on Diane Road. Music on Nucleus continues to be a problem.
