Clark Walter “Smitty” Smith

Clark Walter “Smitty” Smith, longtime Coram resident, son of Merrill Smith and Gayle Martin Smith, peacefully passed away in his sleep at Invigorate Post Acute Care in Whitefish on April 19, 2019. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his death. He had fought a long hard battle.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and older brother, Dallas Smith.

He leaves behind his wife, LeeAnn, his daughter Melissa and son Merrill in Utah, stepdaughter Wendy (John) Anders of Columbia Falls and stepsons Dan Gutierrez, of Virginia and Paul Juilys of Arizona, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Clark asked no services be celebrated and that in place of memorials for people to help children in need to learn to hunt and fish.
