Report of a rig that was left in the visitor parking lot at Cedar Pointe for three months. A woman was worried she was the victim of a fraud where the perp was able to talk her Social Security number out of her. A man was jumped on 9th Street, but he said he was “a boxer and knows how to take a punch.” Report of a drunk male yelling at cars as he stumbled down the street. Accident on Hilltop Road after a truck hit a car. One person may have had a neck injury. Reckless driver on Nucleus Avenue — truck swerving all over. Suicide attempt reported — person drank alcohol and took many pills.
March 21
Montana Highway Patrol nabbed a woman on a Columbia Falls warrant. A dog bit a person in the hallway of an apartment building.
March 22
Report of woman and her boyfriend trying to enter a house that they weren’t welcome in, so the reporting party called police. An aggressive male was told he wasn’t welcome at a business on Highway 2. A pedestrian reported almost being hit by a vehicle.
March 23
Driver nabbed on Fourth Street for possible DUI. Report of a pistol and a knife stolen from a truck. Several threats were allegedly made to a person by another person, claiming they would “take care of business” and the “quiet apartments wouldn’t be so quiet tonight.” There was also a social media post where the guy said he would shoot the man and his wife. Police looked into the matter.
March 24
A suicidal woman was eventually stopped in Martin City and taken to a hospital after high-speed chase on Highway 2. Law enforcement used spike strips to blow out two tires of her pickup, which aided in the pursuit. No reports of injuries.
March 25
A man was allegedly stalking a woman, but police said it hadn’t reached the point of being criminal. Someone stole a snowblower on Nucleus Avenue. A belligerent neighbor was threatening to punch another neighbor’s caregiver.
