A big blue bus was blocking parking at a store on Highway 2. The neighbors complained that a resident was letting his dog poop in their yard on Martha Road. A woman who rented a room to a male on Craigslist now wanted him out of her house.
March 13
Fender bender on 11th Street. Possible sexual assault — police were following up with child protective services.
March 14
A person was cited for drugs near the high school. Two youths were cited on Talbott Road at about 10:30 a.m. for being minors in possession of alcohol. Report of a person threatening suicide by cop and was homicidal toward family members. The person was taken to hospital for mental evaluation. A woman called to say that a vicious dog attacked her other dog and killed it, now she didn’t know what to do with the attacker — she had it in a crate. A woman who rented a room to a male on Craigslist now wanted him out of her house. Report of three teenage kids trying to break into a vehicle and then a fight ensued between them.
March 15
Some parents were concerned about a man who was allegedly watching them drop their kids off at a daycare. Report of a student who was considering suicide, but the person in question denied any talk about such a thing. Report of a husband throwing water on a wife and taking her phone so she couldn’t call 911. Report of a fight between friends at a trailer court.
March 16
A woman complained that her landlord was threatening to evict her because she parked in the wrong parking spot. Loose horses were running down Talbott Road. A drunk male was stumbling down the road. He was returned home safely. Police picked up a man on a warrant on 6th Street.
March 17
A woman drove into the ditch on the Truck Route. Report of a van with the rear door open going down the road. May have been a child or stroller rolling around in the back, reporting party said.
March 18
A woman claimed her ex-boyfriend had her car and wouldn’t give it back. Report of a man trashing an apartment and then harassing the other tenants on Diane Road. Report of a suspicious male checking cars on 9th Street.
