Police were on the lookout for a man who may have been on heroin who was driving a rig in Columbia Falls. Report of a person who might be sleeping under someone’s car port.

Feb. 26

Loud music complaint on Nucleus. They turned down the bass. Fender bender on U.S. Highway 2. A mother and her daughter were fighting on Beth Road.

Feb.27

Ford versus Chevy on Nucleus. No injuries. Two vehicle accident at Blue Moon intersection with injuries. Jeep hit a Subaru. One person had possible head and neck injury. A disturbance between and a man and his girlfriend ended up with him ripping her shirt and her assaulting him in ways we can’t print in the newspaper.

Feb. 28

Fender bender on Talbott. Report of a teen threatening suicide. A woman was nabbed on a warrant on 6th Street. A woman with a medical problem was stuck in the snow.

March 1

People called police on a man who sat in his truck “for hours.” They thought that was suspicious. Report of a woman walking down the street not dressed for the weather. Neighbors brought her in the house and helped her out. Hit and run on Nucleus Avenue. A man wanted to talk to the police chief, he said “he’d been wronged” when he was arrested earlier.

March 2

A policeman thought that his body cam, which fell out into the snow, had been swept away by a snowplow. Police dealt with a combative male on First Avenue. A Dodge SUV rolled over on Highway 2, the driver climbed out on its own.

March 3

A black and white pointer dog was picked up by police after it caused a wreck near the Waterslides. No report of injuries, however.

March 4

Report of an employee’s boyfriend passing a fake $100 bill at a store in town, but the claim was the boyfriend didn’t know it was fake. A husky that broke its lead was chasing cars near the Post Office. Report of junior high teens pushing each other around on 12th Avenue.
