Report of a bear roaming the city. A person called to complain about rogue rabbits on his property. A party called about a sick child.
June 14
That bear was back — in a backyard on 7th Street apparently trying to break into a chicken coop. A woman complained that her daughter called the Sheriff’s Department on her, but she didn’t know why.
June 15
Barking dogs were irritating the neighbors. Counterfeit bill passed at local store.
June 16
Report of a basement window broken out of a church. A man called to say he thought his son was a danger to himself and others. A truck rolled over on Walsh Road — possible DUI.
June 17
Fender bender in parking lot of Smith’s. Report of a car swerving all over the place with its side door open. People were setting up to sleep in a city park. They were told to move along. Cars egged in the Beth Road neighborhood.
