Paula Kay Miller (Schneider) 68
Paula was born to Donald R. Schneider and Myrtle D. Schneider (Shipp), on Nov. 10, 1950, in Glasgow. She was the second of nine children. Paula grew up in Glasgow and Havre until the family moved to Columbia Falls in 1965. Paula knew she was home with all the mountains and trees.
Paula passed away May 24, 2019.
Paula married Fred Miller on Sept. 28, 1975 and started a family of five children between them. They spent most of their time in Columbia Falls.
Paula loved the outdoors and was an avid bowler. She spent many years riding snowmobiles and taking family camping trips. You never left her without feeling loved. She gave eight years as an EMT to the Columbia Falls Volunteer Ambulance Association. She was never afraid to work and work hard. She ran a lumber mill, was a police dispatcher, a bus driver, a store manager, and many other exciting employment adventures.
Her favorite job was being a wife, a mother, grandmother, auntie, sister, daughter and friend. Paula believed in always helping others. You always knew she loved and cared about you.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, Donald Schneider, her sister Wendy, and her stepdaughter Michelle.
Paula is survived by her husband Fred Miller; her children, Teri Schneider-O’dea (Matt), Justin (Stacy), Chad, David (Autumn), Anthony (Miranda); and stepson Ray; her mother Myrtle; her siblings Cyndi, Gene (Rela), Elayne (John), Robert (Molly), Shelly, Tammy (Martin) and Kim (Sophie); her grandchildren, Denver, Samantha, Spencer, Emily, Justin, Mathew, Tia, Dylan, Levi and Shawn; her great-grandchildren Croydon, Oakli, Paulina, Rhyatt and Annabelle Kay; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life on June 9 at 2 p.m. at Paula’s home. It is a potluck. Please bring your memories of her. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
