Chambers

Geneva U. Chambers, 87, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at her home in Columbia Falls. She was born March 16, 1932, to Edgar and Effie Gilstad in Keene, North Dakota. She was one of 13 children.

In 1955, she married Frank Cornelia and later moved to Columbia Falls where she remained until her death. They later divorced. She then married J.L. Chambers where they ran Chambers Drilling for several years.

Geneva is survived by two sisters, Lillian Gravos of Bismarck, North Dakota, and Eleanor Metzler of Williston, North Dakota; and by her six children, Patsy English of Columbia Falls, Peggy (Mark) Larkey of Deer Lodge, Unice Cornelia of Columbia Falls, Pam (Chris) Reighard of Deer Lodge, Raymond (Jennie) Cornelia of Mohave Valley, Arizona, Dave (Chandra) Cornelia of Lewiston, Idaho; 15 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Clifford, Walter, Albert, Merrill, Norman, and Raymond Gilstad and four sisters, Dorothy Paddock, Myrtle Gravos, Ila Prestangen, and Ida Olson.

At the request of Geneva no service is planned. The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date.
