Community Market

This week’s community market at the Coop features music by 20 Grand, beer from Jeremiah Johnson Brewing and spirits from Vilya Spirits. This week’s market is sponsored by Three Rivers Bank of Montana. Market runs from 5 p.m. to twilight Thursday night.

Elderly assistance

The Flathead County Agency on Aging will provide Medicare and Benefits information at the Community Health Clinic site in Hungry Horse, 200 N Street, on Thursday, July 25 from 2-6 p.m. Information and application assistance is available for Medicare assistance programs as well as other help for food, respite, and more. There will be an information table with take away materials, but people are encouraged to call in advance for an individual appointment, 758-2471.

Pints for Paths

The annual Glacier to Gateway Trail Pints for Paths is from 5 to 10 p.m. July 20 at the Heaven’s Peak Resort in West Glacier featuring 20 local breweries and live music by Dave Jordan and MIA from New Orleans. The annual benefit for Gateway to Glacier Trail promises an evening of great Montana beer, rocking live music and one of the best views around. It will have beers form local Montana and regional Breweries including Backslope Brewing, Bonsi Brewing Project, Flathead Lake Brewing, Tamarack Brewing, Kalispell Brewing, Great Northern Brewing Company, and Philipsburg Brewing, to name a few. Pints for Paths includes non-alcoholic soda, ice cream for floats, and food vendors. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the gate and are availablwe online at its website, gatewaytoglaciertrail.com or at the Stonefly Lounge, Hungry Horse Liquor, O’Brien’s Liquor and Wine, and Freedom Bank.

Lions concert

The Lions Club Thursday night concert series continues at Marantette Park this week with music from Cocinando, a lively Latin rhythm band. Cost is a suggested donation of $3 per person or $5 per family. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
