Lonestar to headline Twins Concert Series

Country music group Lonestar will be the featured act at the second annual Glacier Twins Concert Series on Friday, Aug. 2.

Formed in 1992 in Nashville, the group has charted more than 20 singles on the Hot Country Songs chart.

The concert will be held on the Twins’ Memorial Park Baseball Field in Whitefish, rain or shine. Gates open at 5 p.m.

The opening act starting at 7 p.m. will be music from Jacque Jolene and The Last Chance Band, from Spokane and western Montana.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the gate the day of the event. Children 6 and under are free. VIP tables with seating for 10 up front, including drinks and snacks are also available for purchase at $1,500.

Ticket locations are Brannigan’s Pub in Kalispell, Kelly’s Casino in Columbia Falls and Buster’s Casino in Whitefish. Tickets can also be purchased online at http://bitly/lonestarwhitefish or at the front gate at any Glacier Twins baseball game this summer. This event is festival seating, so bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.

No outside food, drinks or coolers will be permitted. Various kinds of food and soft drinks, as well as beer and wine vendors will be available on site.

Multi-team contestants can sign up to participate in a Corn Hole Tournament on the field immediately following the concert at around 10 p.m.
