Several Columbia Falls locations were vandalized recently with spray painted messages.

Columbia Falls police are looking to a number of incidents involving vandalism to area murals in which spray painters left a series of graffiti messages throughout town.

According to officer Jared Haddenham, the vandals struck a number of locations around town, including the mural at the Masonic Temple, Wild Jo’s, O’Brien’s Liquor and Falls Park.

Haddenham said he is also looking to the report of additional graffiti at Uptown Hearth.

The graffiti included phrases such as “Stolen Land,” “Compassion” and “Trust the World.”

Haddenham said the police are having a tough time identifying any suspects, as none of the areas that were painted have surveillance cameras.
