A party had had enough of a person trolling them on social media, so they called police. Fender bender at Parkside Credit Union. Noisy neighbors on Diane Road. A female could be heard saying “you broke my nose” on a 911 call from Diane Road. Turned out it was verbal only, no arrests.
Dec. 19
A man on 8th Street said his house was broken into a couple of weeks ago and he was just now noticing some tools missing. A woman wanted a male out of her house because he was “ruining her life.”
Dec. 20
A person wanted to take a trailer that “abandoned” off Nucleus Avenue. Police told the party they simply couldn’t take it. A woman dropped her phone on the bike path and claimed someone stole it.

Possible alcohol poisoning at a store on Highway 2.
Dec. 22
Reckless driving on Highway 2. A person kept spraying the neighbor’s dog with water because the dog wouldn’t stop barking. The owner of the dog thought that was cruel. Police reminded her of the barking dog ordinance. Woman said the neighbor was baiting her dog by letting their own dog loose, which made her dog bark. People complained about loud noise at the bowling alley. Police asked them to turn it down.

Report of a sexual assault of a minor. A woman called to say her 15-year-old son had drank all the beer in the house, so she called police.
Dec. 24
Slide off on Talbott Road damaged Veterans’ Home Cemetery fence. A rig that ran out of gas was blocking a lane of Meadow Lake Boulevard.

Police responded to a suicide threat. Person voluntarily sought treatment.
Dec. 26
Another noise complaint about the bowling alley. A person died of an apparent overdose. A girl reported being harassed on Snapchat.
Dec. 27
Fender bender on 11th Street. A homeless guy was walking on Highway 2 with a blanket, panhandling. People said he didn’t look so good. A man allegedly stole a bag of steaks and was seen at the Dam Town Tavern in Hungry Horse trying to sell them.

Report of slashed tires on First Avenue. Report of a guy threatening another person over money and he reportedly had an ice pick. A woman outside a Nucleus business was trying to sell her coat.
Dec. 29
Report of a man shoveling snow back onto a neighbor’s doorstep. A woman called police to check on her neighbor because his back door was wide open.
Dec. 30
Fender bender on Meadow Lake Boulevard. A man who had cut-up knuckles and a sleeveless shirt was wandering around on Hilltop in the cold.
