Geology talk
On Feb. 25 Glacier National Park Volunteer Associates Annual Winter Speaker series features Teagan Tomlin, an interpretive ranger in Glacier National Park who will present “If Rocks Could Talk.” Tomlin will take listeners through the park’s geologic history and describe four major phases that helped shape the Park’s scenery at 7 p.m. at the Museum at Central School in Kalispell. The talk is free and open to the public.
Bunco party
Columbia Falls Women’s Connection will host a Bunco fundraising party on Saturday, March 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Valley Hospital Community Room in Columbia Falls. Come join other women for an afternoon of fun, refreshments and prizes. You must be 18 years old to play and a $10 donation is requested. Reservations are required by Feb. 27. Job Fair
There is a job fair at the Columbia Falls High School Thursday. Times are 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for students and 3 to 6 p.m. for the general public.
Chamber lunch
The monthly Columbia Falls Chamber luncheon is at 11:45 a.m. at the North Valley Community Room on Nucleus Avenue March 12. Guest speaker is Columbia Falls city manager Susan Nicosia. Lunch is $12, but you do not have to eat to attend.
Gateway show
Glacier Gateway Elementary School will have a fifth grade jazz musical at 1:45 p.m. March 1 in the high school little theater. The concert is free and open to the public.
Ruder music
Ruder Elementary fifth-graders will have a “Rock ‘n Roll Forever” concert at 2 p.m. Feb. 28 at the school gymnasium. The concert is free and open to the public.
