A woman said someone stole a package off her porch. It was a hand -sewn Christmas tree skirt from a relative and she hoped whoever stole it would return it. A rig lost a tire on Highway 2.
Dec. 10
A person called to say she thought two cars were shooting at each other near the Blue Moon. Police stopped a woman for having expired tags on her car; she said it was called by two individuals who don’t like her because she turned in one of them for having drug paraphernalia. A person called to say she thought drug deals were going down on Highway 2 in a parking lot.
Dec. 11
A dog attacked another dog on the bike path near Fourth Avenue. The loser of the fight was taken to the vet. Report of a burned up car at the gravel pit in Hungry Horse.
Dec. 12
A woman reported her current boyfriend’s tires had been slashed and she suspected a jealous ex. Some thieves who stole a couple of air compressors and had them in the back of a pickup may be heading toward Columbia Falls. A 12-year-old boy was reported missing. He was found in the neighbor’s backyard. Gas line broke on 6th Street. The gas company was working on it. Police stopped an alleged drunk driver on Highway 2 after getting the heads up that she was heading this way from Hungry Horse.

A man who lost his wallet reported that his account was showing withdrawals. Report of shots fired. It was duck hunters doing a photo shoot from private land near the river.
Dec. 14
T-bone accident on Highway 2 near the cemetery with injuries; airbags deployed. Report of two separate suicide threats. A woman claimed she was kicked and punched in the head at a party in Martin City by multiple people after she had done some kicking and punching herself. Everyone was apparently highly intoxicated.
Dec. 15
A drunk woman fell and hit her face on the sidewalk on Nucleus Avenue. More loud music complaints on Nucleus. It’s a weekly occurrence.
Dec. 16
Kids were throwing snowballs at cars. A very drunk father was threatening family members and had a baseball bat, among other things.
