Aug. 20

A woman was worried that her ex husband was threatening to kill her; though he was in Washington state, she was worried he would come to Montana. A man called police because his son, who was on vacation in the area, hadn’t contacted him. Police explained that there isn’t cell phone coverage everywhere in Montana.

Aug. 21

A shopper tried to leave with a cart full of groceries, but store stopped him and he fled on foot. A person found a knife or possibly a hatchet on the side of the road that had a note on it that said “smile you are on camera, I will find you and kill you.” Report of a car driving up and down Ninth Avenue blaring music.

Aug. 22

A person told police that he believed someone racked up about $1,000 in charges on his debit card, but he didn’t want to press charges.

Aug. 23

Report of an unruly juvenile on Council Bluffs Drive. Report of a drunk driver with a beverage in hand, spilling it all over himself on Highway 2. A woman reported that a man she knew had a gun and he wasn’t supposed to because he was a convicted felon. Another report of drunk drivers on Highway 2.

Aug. 24

A woman called to say she didn’t think her grandkids were being treated very well. A man was nabbed on a warrant on 6th Street. A dog bit a 5-year-old girl, though medical treatment was refused. Report of a male who was banged up after wiping out on an electric skateboard. Report of white Camaro driving recklessly on Highway 40.

Aug. 25

Road rage on Highway 2, with a guy getting out of his car and “flipping off” the other driver. A caller said their Facebook account had been hacked.

Aug. 26

A woman claimed she was being stalked by a person in a white van and they blew a substance into her car through one of her windows. Possible fight on Martha Road.

Aug. 27

Report of thefts from cars on 1st Street. Caller said someone shot at her rig with a bb gun. Report of a row between some juveniles and adults at Council Bluffs. A man called police to allegedly confess the rape of a teen.
