A woman called to complain about being harassed on Facebook — something to do with a dispute over the sale of a cat. A dispute between two exes was heated after the woman allegedly swerved her car at the man. The man wanted police to meet him at his home in case it got worse.
Aug. 8
Report of theft from unlocked vehicles on Columbia Drive. Report of a fight between a couple on 7th Street. Report of neighbors smoking so much weed that now the neighbor’s house was smelling like pot, too.
Aug. 9
A man who couldn’t answer basic questions was at Jiffy Lube. They didn’t think he was intoxicated, but he might have some medical problems. A 2-year-old child was accidentally sprayed with pepper spray on Railroad Street. Report of a man passed out in a yard on Fourth Avenue, possibly from medical condition.
Aug. 10
An employee called to complain about another employee possibly drinking and driving on the job. Someone said they found a bag of drugs on Railroad Street. Sparking powerlines started a fire near the trestle on Jellison Road in the trees and grass. No structures threatened. A tree fell on a house on Dorothy Street. Tree across the road on Third Avenue.

Loose cattle on Highway 2 — owner rounded them up. A family member was upset that other family members weren’t following parking and other house rules. They got into a spat when the police were there and police advised the caller to have the problematic family members evicted. Report of man allegedly threatening woman with crow bar. Four vehicle rear-end accident on Highway 2.
