April 15
Report of a fraudulent caller who claimed to be raising funds for Columbia Falls High School. A man in a little white car was driving up and down the road yelling at people. A caller said they saw a woman who was wanted by the Whitefish Police Department at a local grocery store in Columbia Falls.
April 16
An RV was parked in front of a house at Riverwood Lane and caller thought that was suspicious. Turned out it was the new owners moving in. Report of a delusional male armed with pepper spray and a baseball bat at a house. Party wanted him taken to the hospital.
April 17
Report of a distraught person with a knife threatening to kill themselves. Another person was suffering from a possible overdose of drugs. Report of a woman with a drug problem who went missing. Report of a person sending threatening messages to another person. A woman said her son kept threatening her.
April 18
A party reported that her son was making delusional claims, including that his friend was pushed off the roof and was dead — the male was having severe mental health issues. A person said two U.S. Marshals had gone to his house looking for him, though he wasn’t aware of any warrants, so he called police to check if there were any warrants for his arrest. Report of a male being assaulted at the junior high and the party was unhappy about how the school handled it. False report of a woman being held hostage at a house.
April 19
Report of a paraeducator who may have assaulted a special needs child, though no injuries were reported. Hit an run fender bender on Nucleus. Report of kids smoking in a parking lot. Report a person being stabbed near the school in the leg, but no one wanted to file a complaint and there were apparently no serious injuries.
April 20
Report of someone driving a golf carts around and yelling at 1:30 a.m. at Meadow Lake Resort. One cart was found in the bushes. An ex was threatening to throw out a woman and her baby’s belongings if they didn’t get out of the house in 24 hours. Report of a Toyota Tundra driving recklessly on Highway 2.
April 21
Lost dog found on 7th Avenue. Report of a drunk pedestrian on the Highway 2 bridge. Police stopped a vehicle where the male was seen slapping a female on Highway 2.
April 22
Report of someone in a car near the old Red Bridge who might have been smoking pot.
