Man riding a motorcycle was urinating on a fence after his bike tipped over on 9th Street. He was arrested for suspected DUI.
April 8
Caller said a man in grey pants and a hoodie was acting “stalky” by walking back and forth in front of the business where she works. Turned out the man was wanted on a warrant from another county. Caller reported being that a white truck with four small children in the back seat tried to run him off the road on 3rd Ave.
April 9
Caller said her daughter had jumped out a moving vehicle and was “all bloody.” Report that a person’s father was stealing from her and not giving her mail to her.
April 10
Person received a fraudulent call from the “IRS” about a vehicle found in Texas with blood in it that was traced back to the them before the caller asked for the person’s credit card info. Call about a male who had made a threatening post about the Columbia Falls Junior High School on Facebook. Male stated that he had a problem with all of the teachers there, that the school was a joke and if it wasn’t figured out, he would walk in and fix the problem himself. Reporting party thought the male might be the parent of a student there. Caller said his son was assaulted at school and now his braces needed readjusting.
April 11
Report of a vehicle cutting other motorists off on Hwy 40. The driver was tailgating vehicles and the passenger put his hand outside the window to point a pistol at the car in front of him.
April 12
Citations issued to motorist driving a motorcyle without a license.
April 13
Report of a broken window at the junior high school. It was double-pane glass and only the outside was broken. A female attempted to steal items from the Smith’s deli. She was confronted by a store employee and left. Person found a laptop in their mailbox and wanted to turn it in to the police. The laptop was later returned to its owner, who had it stolen from their unsecured vehicle.
April 14
The equipment sheds at the softball complex were broken into. Unsure what, if anything, was missing.
