Sept. 18

A person called to say they found a tire gauge and a cigarette butt in their rig and they don’t smoke, so someone was in the car that wasn’t them. Someone was making themselves at home in a lady’s garage — she found a backpack and bed and other personal items. A man called police to say his girlfriend had attacked him at the North Valley Eagles while he was in the restroom and tore his T-shirt. He called back to say it was accidental. A woman had a seizure on Fourth Avenue.

Sept. 19

A person complained that they were given in a minor in possession ticket for having an e-cigarette and they claimed that never happens. A set of wheels and tires were stolen on Third Avenue. A youth was hit by a car near Mudman Burgers, but was apparently OK. Police noted 12 parking violations. Bike stolen on Fourth Avenue.

Sept. 20

A 3-or 4-year-old child was walking around alone on 13th Street after her mom spanked her. The child said she was looking for her teacher. A house may have been broken into. It had a broken window and the screen was out, though it didn’t look like anyone went inside. A 14-year-old said he keeps getting beaten with a belt, so he called police. A woman was having a seizure.

Sept. 21

A squirrel blew a transformer at Station 8. Power was out for the part of the city. A car on First Avenue looked like it had been smashed with a baseball bat. A parent called to say they thought someone was siphoning gas from their daughter’s car. A girl said she was afraid to go home after she was beaten with a fishing pole and wire hanger by her father. A party called police after kids in an Isuzu Trooper threw a coin at his rig. Police, in turn, nabbed them for minor in possession.

Sept. 22

Another transformer blew on Third Avenue. A male was having a fight with his girlfriend at Columbia Villa apartments. Someone called the cops because of the noise.

Sept. 23

Neighbors on Diane Road were having a fight over dogs defecating on the lawn, though in the end, they shook hands and parted on good terms. A fight on 12th Avenue after a person hit the reporting party and her sister.

Sept. 24

Someone broke into a trailer and stole tools. A woman was concerned about a man who kept harassing her. Report of a man with a gun pointing it at another driver on Highway 206. He also collided with their car. Multiple police responded and the man was apparently taken into custody without incident. A tow truck company found meth inside a vehicle that had been towed.
