Jane Marie Parker

God has welcomed another angel home, as Jane Marie Parker gained her heavenly wings on Sept. 14th surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 21, 1941 to Walt and Elsie Wesche. She grew up on a ranch where she learned to be the fastest potato peeler in the West. She loved to cook, and her pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy won the heart of Ron Parker, whom she married six months after they met.

The following five years were spent bringing the four “Parker Girls” into the world, and the adventures began in Columbia Falls. Jane was a wonderful mom who taught her girls to be strong, independent, honest and hard working. She led by example through her dedication to her family and her career in the insurance industry. She loved cooking for her family, and her homemade bread was famous. She lived her life full of love and adventures with her family including camping, fishing, listening to Ron pick guitar and sing, and all the simple pleasures of life.

After many months of feeling trapped in a broken body and a mind that remembered less and forgot more, Jane is now free from pain and is whole again. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years Ron; her daughters and sons-in-law Marilyn (Senon) Trevino, Jeanie Weasel Tail, Sherry (Todd) Brester, and Tamy (Dana) Wagner; six grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, Jake, Zach, Andrew, and Nick; and one great-granddaughter, Kaydence, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bud, and her son-in-law Keith. A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, Nov. 24 at 1 p.m., following her favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, at the family home.
