Sept. 10

Report of a fake $100 bill being passed off at the Blue Moon Town Pump. Perp was driving a primer black pickup truck. A confused woman with a little dog needed some medical help. A woman called 911 to see if anyone needed extra winter coats she had. Maybe police knew some needy folks. A woman said her ex-boyfriend kept sending her threatening text messages. A party called to report a skunk under their shed.

Sept. 11

A 16-year-old ran away from home and wanted to speak to someone about her options. Complaints of speeding and stop sign violations on Fourth Avenue West. A party called to complain that another guy kept parking near his house to use the free wifi. Police said it was a public street and public wifi and there was nothing they could do. Police made 11 traffic stops.

Sept. 12

A person called police on a man who slept in his car after having a fight with his wife the night before. Report of a stolen Visa that was last used at an auto parts store. A traveling couple who lost their wallet was hoping for some help for a place to stay, as the woman was fighting leukemia.

Sept. 13

A boy broke his leg skateboarding on 13th Street. Death threats on Ninth Street — someone gave the finger shooting sign to another person. A black truck was spinning broadies on Fourth Avenue. A phone was reported stolen at school. The find my phone app said it was at Fran Lou Park.

Sept. 14

Traffic hazard on Second Avenue after a trailer dropped a gear and was unable to get it back up. Gunshots heard on U.S. Highway 2. Possible suicide attempt on Third Avenue.

Sept. 15

A person reported a suspicious rig on Riverwood Lane — they’d had their tires slashed previously. A person called to say a drunk felon was welcome to sleep in the camper, but not in the house. Wreckless driving on Highway 2; ran red light and swerving all over the place. A woman hit her husband on the head about 20 times after a fight on Hilltop.

Sept. 16

Someone got into the toolbox of an unlocked rig, but nothing seemed to be missing. A building on Ninth Street had smoke inside. It was an electrical problem. A woman called to say she’d been stabbed on Fourth Avenue, but she wasn’t bleeding and refused medical treatment.
