Oct. 23

A U-Haul truck that was blocking a driveway may have been stolen from Nevada. A guy who may have been living in a Cadillac on Grace Road was peeing outside the rig. A guy dropped off some ammunition of different calibers and asked police to destroy it. Someone dropped a bag of pills in someone’s yard, so they took it to the police department.

Oct. 24

A student was hit by a vehicle on Pheasant Road, but the car didn’t stop. No serious injuries. A person on Diane Road claimed someone was stealing FedEx packages delivered to the house, but FedEx said that truck didn’t match anything they had out on the road. Someone reported a high voltage box was exposed. Flathead Electric came and fixed it.

Oct. 25

Police spoke with a man who had a rifle in his rig while visiting school property. He was very apologetic. Someone called police after they thought a male may have been beating on kids in a nearby apartment.

Oct. 26

Road rage where a driver waved a pistol at another driver on Highway 206 and they were heading into Columbia Falls.

Oct. 27

A car at Auto Zone that was trying to change the oil in the parking lot may have been stolen. A landlord tenant dispute escalated after the landlord, who claimed the tenant hadn’t paid the rent, brought a gun to the eviction confrontation. A dog kept tripping a burglar alarm on Nucleus Avenue.

Oct. 28

Suicide threat on Eighth Street. Someone from Florida called police to say a stolen check had been used at a local grocery store back in September and she was wondering if the surveillance video went back that far.

Oct. 29

Police responded to a disorderly woman at a dentist’s office, not sure what her problem was, but it wasn’t a medical issue. Fender bender on Nucleus Avenue. Possible child abuse on Seventh Street.
