If you’ve gotten a call from a company selling T-shirts to benefit the Columbia Falls basketball team, it’s scam, the school and police are warning people.

The school district told the Hungry Horse News today that they are aware of the scam and the district does not do fundraisers over the phone. They only do them in person, school officials note. Anyone who gets a call claiming to represent the school in a fundraiser should hang up.

The Columbia Falls Police, the Chamber of Commerce and the School District all put out warnings about the scam earlier today.
