Junior striker Josie Windauer became the first Wildkat soccer player to sign with an NCAA Division 1 program this week as she committed to play for the University of Montana Grizzlies. Windauer scored 28 goals and had four assists for the Kats this season and was an All-State selection while helping lead the Kats to a Northwest A Conference Championship.
“She is a true example of being a tenacious competitor that holds and equally high moral standard,” Wildkat head soccer coach O’Brien Byrd said. “It has been an absolute pleasure coaching her these last two seasons. We all look forward to her pulling on that blue jersey one more time next fall.”
