Report of a woman banging on windows asking for cigarettes. Woman opened her sliding door and gave her one, then called the cops. Report of kids swearing at the Red Bridge. Remember that watermelon theft from last week? Another one was stolen this week.

A flagger at the highway construction found a 2-year-old boy the day before at 4:14 a.m. Apparently the kid got out of bed and wandered over from a nearby apartment complex.

A man was angry because the babysitter wouldn’t let him take his kids. Police helped sort it out and the man went on his way, sans children. Report of people arguing on Seventh Street.

A couple was having a heated argument at a trailer court, Everyone it seemed, had calmed down. A store owner asked police to try to contact the owner of a trailer parked on its lot before they had it towed.

A parent called to say their 14-year-old daughter has snuck out of the house and hadn’t been seen since.
May 28
A couple arguing on Toftum Lane, female said she went into the house an hit herself in the eye. Drugs may have been involved. Lots of screaming on Second Avenue. Someone called to say she could hear the neighbors arguing and someone saying “Please don’t do this.” The police responded, everything was 10-4. Report of kids on the Red Bridge. A man called to say his wife went for a walk and she wasn’t home yet and he was worried. Police found her walking along Highway 2.
