At Michigan State, Law doing well
Columbia Falls alumna Natalie Law is making her mark in the world of music at Michigan State University.
Law, a bassoonist working on her master’s degree, recently took first place in the college’s “Live Pitch” competition. Law’s pitch centered on her idea to create a beginning bassoon system that would make learning the instrument less frustrating and more enjoyable. For first place, she earned $2,500 plus a $500 “people’s choice” award to pursue her idea as part of the school’s running start program.
Law graduated from Columbia Falls in 2012.
