Elementary students support levy

We are two students from Ruder Elementary, we are in third grade and we are writing because we would like the community to know how important technology is to our education!

A lot of technology has helped us get to where we are in our learning in almost everything. For example, the white boards in every classroom help us in reading, math, science, art, writing, spelling, and music. If we didn’t have white boards, we wouldn’t have hover cams, which allow teachers to teach to the whole group at the same time.

Many other things have helped us like coding and robotics. Coding is important because when the kids who are in elementary school now graduate from college most of the jobs available will have something to do with coding or robotics. One thing we have used in school is a robot named Sphero. It is a small ball shaped robot that can roll and swim! It can also do a few other things when we code it.

With technology in our school we can learn, and play. Kids need technology in our school because it is one of the most important things we use in our learning. Our teacher can teach us more effectively with the use of technology.

So please help the students of Columbia Falls by voting for the technology levy, so we can continue to use these amazing tools in our learning.
