George William Thompson

George William Thompson, 88, of Port Angeles, Wash. passed away March 21, 2018.

George was born to Harold and Nancy Thompson in 1929. He married his soulmate, Cleona, and they had 58 wonderful years together.

He proudly served in the Air Force, logged for more than 30 years, and worked at Costco until he passed.

George was an amazing man, husband, dad, brother, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend. He smiled all the time, very loving and full of life. He never met a stranger. He sure will be missed by all.

George is preceded in death by wife, Cleona, sons Dean, Donny and Ray J. and many siblings.

George is survived by girlfriend, Donna Willenberg, daughters Nancy and Gus Mariner, Sue Thompson, Rachel and Dale Dawley, brother Hubert and Nancy, sisters Leanna and Ruth, sister-in-law Shirley and brothers-in-law Ray, Jim and Jackie. He will be loved and missed by many grandkids and great-grandkids, as well as by many nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held in Montana at 2 p.m. on July 28 at Mary Jane Church’s residence at 785 Spotted Bear Road in Martin City. It will be a potluck, please bring your favorite dish.
