A parent wanted the cops to help them force their daughter to go to school. Police told the parent they couldn’t do that. Suicide threat at 12th Avenue. A person complained that a local business was feeding birds meat scraps and the birds were pooping on everything. The business said it would stop. Police investigated two non-injury wrecks. A man complained that a female hit him while he was holding a 4-month-old child.
March 23
A woman called to say her car alarm went off, but nothing was missing. Flathead County Sheriff was asking for assistance to chase down a man who was running on foot in Hungry Horse. A man stopped by a house to work on a computer but no one came to the door and he was worried because he could hear an alarm clock going off inside and dogs barking and faint voices. Turned out the person inside was drunk, but was fine.
March 24
Report of a wreckless driver crossing the white and center lines on Highway 40, was heading toward Columbia Falls. Report of an assault at a local business one employee said they were going to kill the other employee. Report of people playing with radio-controlled cars at the Glacier Bank waterfall. Columbia Falls Police got a report about a fight between a mother, and daughter over $20 and toilet paper.
March 25
Report of a possible fight on Diane Road. Three sets of work boots were found behind a dumpster on Diane Road. Party thinks the neighbors in a nearby apartment stole them.
March 26
Report of a suicidal female with a knife in her hand. A disabled vet accidentally locked himself out of his house and needed help. Report of a woman who was assaulted by her husband in Washington State, but had fled to the Flathead because she had family here.
