March 4

Report of an elderly woman who fell in the bathtub. She wasn’t seriously injured, but she needed help getting up. School reported that a student had made threats to hurt his family while they were sleeping. The family was aware of the threats and took care of the matter. Someone threw a “snow boulder” at a welcome sign at a business and broke it.

March 5

A student thought the school resource officer was going to hurt students. The student was counseled that the officer wasn’t there to hurt anyone. A person wanted police to help her get two kayaks back she had loaned to another party.

March 6

A friendly black lab was really good at jumping the fence, so the neighbors called the cops on it. A deer was hit in front of Super 1 Foods.

March 7

Report of the lights signaling on the tracks through town, but there was no train. Report of a “creeper” house on Beth Road and a person “gacked out” in a Ford Explorer. Report of high schools kids fighting at the Red Bridge. A bag of prescription drugs was left at Super 1 Foods at the pharmacy. The pharmacy was trying to contact the owner. Report of a city loader that hit a mailbox.

March 8

Report of a teen stealing a phone charger and jacket out of a pickup truck. Report of a suspicious person looking into mailboxes.

March 9

Report of dogs possibly setting off a burglar alarm on Ninth Street West. Report of some boys smoking pot in a car near a church. Does a rabid squirrel live in the neighborhood? A caller thinks it does. Report of an underage drinking party on Second Avenue and a juvenile female who fell out of a rig and hit her head.

March 10

Report of a blue Cadillac parked in the middle of Grace Road. Report of a phone scam, where an English businessman claims to have a suitcase full of money. Possible drunk driver weaving its way toward Meadow Lake.

March 11

Dog pulled phone down, called 911. Report of a car window broken and purse stolen on Nucleus Avenue. Truck and trailer hit a light pole on U.S. Highway 2. Road was very icy.

March 12

Report of a chimney fire on Toftum Lane. Firefighters found no fire. Fender bender on Nucleus. Report of a fist fight outside the library.
