Bookmobile

The Columbia Falls Bookmobile, which hands out free books to kids through the end of July, will have the following schedule: Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m. on the south side of town and out towards the airport. Wednesdays noon-2 p.m. on the north side of the highway. Thursdays 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Highway 206 and into Hungry Horse, Coram and Martin City.

Free meals

Free meals will be served by the Columbia Falls Community Kitchen from Wednesday, June 27 through Saturday, June 30 in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church at 6 p.m. The Community Kitchen is non-denominational and not religiously affiliated.

Canyon meal

The free Canyon Community Dinners held the last Thursday of the month is June 28 at Canyon Elementary. Menu is pulled pork, slaw, fruit salad. baked beans, and red white and blueberry sundaes between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Come early and have a cup of coffee and mingle. Community Market

The Columbia Falls Community Market is 5 p.m. Thursday, June 28 at the Coop. Featured music is Pink Cadillac. Sponsor is Glacier Raft Company with FVCC Brewery and Glacier Distilling.

Lions concert

The Columbia Falls Lions Club concert series June 28 features Brass Werks brass band at 7:30 p.m. at Marantette Park. Admission is $3 per adult or $5 per family.

Basketball Camp

The Columbia Falls boys and girls basketball camps for high school age players are July 9-12. The cost is $50 for an individual with a family discount of $5 off each additional child. Camp is from 6-9 p.m. For more information, contact Chris Finberg at 406-250-1994 or c_finberg@cfmtschools.net.

Soccer fundraiser

A free concert featuring Soul Simple is at The Coop from 6 to 9 p.m. July 20 to raise money for the Columbia Falls Boys soccer program. There will be a 50-50 raffle, a climbing wall, free kids games, food vendors, a silent auction and a beer garden.
