Community Market

The Columbia Falls Community Market is 5 p.m. Thursday, July 19 at the Coop. Featured music will be 20 Grand. Sponsor is Berube Physical Therapy with Backslope Brewing and Headframe Spirits.

Soccer fundraiser

A free concert featuring Soul Simple is at The Coop from 6 to 9 p.m. July 20 to raise money for the Columbia Falls boys soccer program. There will be a 50-50 raffle, a climbing wall, free kids games, food vendors, a silent auction and a beer garden.

Blood Drive

A blood drive in honor of Columbia Falls High School student Kimberly Peacock, who is battling leukemia, will be held Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the North Valley Hospital Conference Room at 235 Nucleus Ave., Columbia Falls. For more information or to reserve a spot, call 897-2104.

Women’s lunch

Columbia Falls Women’s Connection will have a luncheon Wednesday, July 18 at 11:30 a.m. at the North Valley Hospital Community Room in Columbia Falls. Sonny King, a local country western singer, will perform old time favorites. Paula Abbott, a cowgirl from Texas, will share her story how she traded her pain for peace. Alumni game

The first annual Columbia Falls alumni soccer game is July 21, with women at 6 p.m. and men at 8 p.m. at Flip Darling Field in Columbia Falls. Cost is $25 and includes a jersey. To register, email cassieadams77@gmail.com

The Montana House Kintla Event Room at Apgar Village will host author Blake Passmore for a presentation, book signing and reception Friday, July 20 at 7 p.m. Passmore will be discussing and signing his book “Many Glacier - The Stories Behind the Names.” The event is free to the public.
