Community Market

The Columbia Falls Community Market is 5 p.m. Thursday, July 5 at the Coop. Featured music will be Gimmic and Roots Uprising. Sponsor is Yoga Hive with Draught Works Brewery and Sotted Bear Spirits.

Lions concert

The Columbia Falls Lions Club concert series July 5 features with Pianos-Pianos-Pianos at 7:30 p.m. at Marantette Park. Admission is $3 per adult or $5 per family.

Softball camp

The University of Providence softball camp will be at the Columbia Falls High School field July 10. Check-in and registration begins at 8:45 a.m. with a skills camp for ages 6-10 from 9 a.m. until noon. The check-in and registration for the skills camp for ages 11-5 will be at 12:45 p.m. with the camp running from 1-4 p.m. There will be a pitching camp for all ages beginning at 4:30 p.m. The cost of the skills camps is $40 while the pitching camp is $25. Soccer fundraiser

A free concert featuring Soul Simple is at The Coop from 6 to 9 p.m. July 20 to raise money for the Columbia Falls Boys soccer program. There will be a 50-50 raffle, a climbing wall, free kids games, food vendors, a silent auction and a beer garden.

Alumni game

The first annual Columbia Falls alumni soccer game is July 21, with women at 6 p.m. and men at 8 p.m. at Flip Darling Field in Columbia Falls. Cost is $25 and includes a jersey. To register, email cassieadams77@gmail.com

Church service

The Journey Church will have a special outdoor worship service at The Coop in Columbia Falls Saturday, July 14. The event includes a free barbecue, kids’ games, worship music and sermon. It kicks off at 4 p.m. with a bounce house for the kids, then free food and drinks at 5 p.m. A time of worship and sharing God’s message of love starts at 6 p.m., with special activities for the kids during the service.

Talk on crowds

Join researchers from the University of Montana for a brown bag presentation that provides an overview of visitor use research and trends in Glacier National Park and the Flathead River System as well as explores future research ideas and needs. The presentation is Tuesday, July 10 in the West Glacier Community Building from noon to 1 p.m.

Blood Drive

A blood drive in honor of Columbia Falls High School student Kimberly Peacock, who is battling leukemia, will be held Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the North Valley Hospital Conference Room at 235 Nucleus Ave., Columbia Falls. For more information or to reserve a spot, call 897-2104.
