MatCats go 2-2 in final week before hosting Divisionals

The MatCats got in their final matches of the regular season last week as the team competed in duals against Polson, Libby-Troy, Eureka and Whitefish.

Ben Windauer and Kyler Koski both went undefeated for the Cats last week as Windauer pinned his opponents against Polson and Libby-Troy at home Tuesday and was the winner via forfeit against Whitefish and Eureka at the Dog Duals in Whitefish Friday. Koski won via 4-0 decision over Libby-Troy’s Cyrus Sweedman Tuesday and pinned Eureka’s Sam Johnson in 1:11 in Whitefish Saturday. Koski also won via forfeit against Whitefish.

Brandon Thomas, Braydon Stone and Colton McPhee all went 3-1 for the MatCats on the week as Stone pinned his opponents against Polson and Whitefish. Thomas pinned pinned Libby-Troy’s Cody Crace in 58 seconds Tuesday and McPhee pinned pinned Libby-Troy’s Ethan Borden in 1:21.

The Cats will be at home Friday and Saturday as they host the Class A Divisional Meet.
