Dec. 28

Someone complained about a dog left outside. Cops checked it out and it had food and water and didn’t appear mistreated. Complaint about snow being plowed into an alley. It needed to be open for emergency services. A stolen car was found on Diane Road. Report of a semi taking off a window on a passing rig. Semi didn’t stop. Fight in front of a bar on Nucleus Avenue. There were a lot of non-injury accidents.

Dec. 29

A rig lost its tire in front of the library. A caller said they were getting threats from a woman who said she was going to kill Chelsea Clinton. More rigs were slip sliding away during snowstorm. No injuries. A rig lost a wheel bearing near Super 1 Foods. Lots of stuck rigs in the snow.

Dec. 30

A lost dog was found in Columbia Heights. Lots of disabled rigs and rig in snowbanks.

Dec. 31

A pit bull jumped through a home window. Dog and reporting party were OK. A hysterical family member complained that her relative’s patio area at Timber Creek Village hadn’t been cleared of snow. Report of a fight on Ninth Street West.

Report of a man making verbal threats to a woman on Ninth Street West. Complaint by neighbors that house construction was making too much noise at night — radio blaring. A Diane Road resident complained that the backup warning on the snowplows was keeping him up.
