Free meals

Free meals will be served by the Columbia Falls Community Kitchen from Sunday, Feb. 25 through Wednesday, Feb. 28 in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church at 6 p.m.

Fish Fry

The Knights of Columbus fish fry is Friday at 6 p.m. at St. Richard’s Church.

Job Fair

Columbia Falls will hold a Wildcat Job Fair for employers looking to hire high school students. The fair is 8:30 a.m. to noon at the high school April 17. The fair is free to businesses. To register online, visit www.columbiafallschamber.org.

After hours

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly business after hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Oddfellows Coffee House across from City Hall. There will also be a ribbon cutting.

Jazz concert

Glacier Gateway fifth graders from Mrs. Jones’s, Ms. Colleran’s and Mr. Van der Weide’s classes will present “Jazz – A Swingin’ Celebration on the Ski Slopes” on Friday, Feb. 23 at 1:45 p.m. in the Little Theater. A complimentary reception for students, parents and guests will follow the afternoon performance.

Art sale

The Hockaday Museum of Art will have its Artists Give Back 2018: Orphan Art Sale, a winter fundraiser for the Hockaday at Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish on Saturday, March 3 from 7 to 10 p.m. Professional artists from the Flathead Valley and throughout Northwest Montana will have rare pieces from their own archives available for purchase. The 32 participating artists are donating 100 percent of the sales to the Hockaday, supporting the museum’s upcoming 50th anniversary. Enjoy live music and light appetizers. Full cash bar available. Call the museum at 755-5268 to purchase tickets in advance. Cost for members/$15, non-members, $25.

Free dinner

Everyone is welcome to attend the free Canyon Community dinner held in the Hungry Horse School on the last Thursday of the month. This month it is Thursday the 22nd and the menu is turkey divan served with broccoli and rice and a cherry surprise cobbler for dessert. We serve between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. and as always come early and have a cup of coffee and visit or play cards etc. Any questions, please feel free to call Flo at 250-3406.
