Man charged with felony partner-family assault

A Kalispell man was charged with felony partner-family member assault after he allegedly had an altercation with a family member Feb. 10 at the Cedar Creek Lodge.

Kevin Hoover, 46, was apparently staying in the lodge for Cabin Fever Days, Columbia Falls Police Chief Clint Peters said.

Hoover was charged with a felony because it was his third offense. Police arrested Hoover just before midnight.

He was booked into the Flathead County Detention Center pending further court appearances.
