Nov. 27
Police were called to a home to see if someone who had a history of stroke may have had another one. Report of a noose on a stop sign. Looked like it may have been a rope for a dog. A woman and her 2-year-old child were lunged at by a loose dog on Fourth Street as she was loading up her car. A man was allegedly kicked in the groin by his neighbor and the neighbor threatened to kill his dog.

A rig in a church parking lot had two flat tires. Report of a stolen wallet at the high school.
Nov. 29
Domestic violence case where woman was allegedly kicked and hit. A person reported having their car shot by bb gun. A suitcase had been sitting between the Columbia Bar and the apartment building for several days. It was finally tossed in the Dumpster. Road rage incident near airport ended up in Columbia Falls. A man pulled out a gun at another driver. A man walking in Highway 2 was almost hit by a car. Police knew him — he’s been in trouble previously for alcohol related offenses.
Nov. 30
A 10 mm Glock was found in parking lot at Murdoch’s. Police responded to a disorderly customer at O’Briens. Someone complained about kids being left in a car while a women went into the store for a few minutes. A woman who said someone assaulted her claimed she was being followed by a fake police car. A woman was having seizures.
Dec. 1
Police investigated a hit and run on Third Street. A truck with a camper on it tore through a yard at FranLou Park, hit a tree and some planter boxes and took off. A woman on a bike was worried about a car that she said was following her.
Dec. 2
A homeless man was sleeping in a city park near the stage. Someone called the cops because the kids upstairs were running up and down the hall in an apartment building, keeping her kids own awake.
Dec. 3
A woman left her kids in the car seat when she went to get the mail at the post office. Someone called the cops on her. A woman called to say her ex-boyfriend was “losing his mind” and may be suicidal. A reckless driver first spotted on Highway 206 was now headed up Nucleus Avenue, a party reported.
Dec. 4
A person called police to get prescription meds out of her house — now. Suicide threat on Fourth Avenue. A man was “just threatened with a gun from one of his baby mama’s family members.” In other words, it was a custody dispute between a man and his girlfriend.
Dec. 5
Sexual assault case being investigated on First Avenue. A dog bit a person on First Avenue.
