Aug. 21

A person reported that someone had thrown rocks at their vehicle on Third Avenue. A person who may have been on meth was yelling at another person First Avenue. Neighbors were blocking a man’s driveway and if they didn’t move soon, he was “going to crack their heads.” Police responded. A man was having an altercation with another person and tried to pee on him at Seventh Street.

Aug. 22

Parking problems on Third Avenue. Police urged them to clean it up. A man chased a couple of kids away from a truck. They may have been burglarizing it. More problems with juveniles on Ninth Street. A woman called to say her car may have been repossessed.

Aug. 23

A man was playing guitar and begging folks for money in front of a local business. A party called to report a sexual assault that happened last year on Martha Road.

Aug. 24

Police handed out several decay ordinance violations in the city. Report of rabbits being abandoned on a property. Report a domestic disturbance on Martha Road, someone slammed against a wall and a lot of yelling. A man wanted a cop around when he went to pick up his stuff from the lawn after his soon to be ex wife threw it out there. An 89-year-old woman was injured when she fell into a window well trying to close the window.

Aug. 25

Report of a rig speeding and driving down center of U.S. Highway 2. Possibly a DUI. A woman who got a decay ordinance violation wanted to know what she had to do with her lawn to “shut people up.” A boy was found in a bike shed and claimed to have run away from home.

Aug. 26

A man called to say the neighbors were parked in his driveway at 11th Street. They moved the car. Another rig was blocking the whole sidewalk on Nucleus Avenue.

Aug. 27

A party on Seventh Street claimed the neighbors had “hocked loogies” on her outdoor furniture, so she called the cops.

A woman called to complain that the neighbor’s dog was pooping in her yard. A 90-year-old woman locked herself out of her house and needed help.

Aug. 28

A woman who was possibly drunk called the crisis line and complained she had cut her lip badly and was bleeding all over the place. Police checked on her. She decided to sleep it off.
