The Blotter: Man hit by rock at Red Bridge
Aug. 7
Report of a runaway 15-year-old female. The reporting party was worried because the girl had a sordid past. Fender bender on Ninth Street. An employee on Nucleus Avenue was concerned that after a fight with her manager she was told to “watch her back.”
Aug. 8
Suicide threat on 13th Street. A woman doing drugs may have gotten into a bad batch on 8th Street. A man found two rifles under a shirt at a place on Nucleus, which he thought was odd. Report of a rig that ran into the fence at SmartLam, no injuries.
Aug. 9
A person was house sitting for friends when a male was found in the house that apparently wasn’t supposed to be there. A man was having a medical emergency on Ninth Street. A man said he found eight teens getting into his vehicle. He claimed they were a constant problem. A drunk female was in the middle of the road with her bike on top of her.
Aug. 10
Someone went through a vehicle on Riverwood Lane, stole about $20 and took a case of Mango White Claw next to the mailbox. More rigs had stuff stolen on Driftwater Way. In fact, there were numerous reports of car break-ins. Many of the rigs were unlocked.
Aug. 11
Someone threw a rock at a guy at the Old Red Bridge and hit him in the leg. Suicide threat on 11th Avenue. A female was throwing punches at a male near the UPS Store.
Aug. 12
A guy was walking around in circles on River Road and kept taking his shirt off, so someone called the cops. Report of a violent male on the phone saying there were demons in the house after he allegedly hit his girlfriend. A person called to say a couple showed up at their house saying they had wrecked their car up near Cedar Lake Road, but they didn’t ask for police.
