A woman called to say she was getting scamming messages saying her daughter had been kidnapped. Report of possible child abuse that happened a couple of weeks ago. Boy apparently had been slapped, leaving bruises. A person was arrested on a warrant.

April 18

Report of kids playing “Frogger” on Ninth Street. Report of a fight at an apartment on Diane Road. A wet, limping, dog was found.

April 20

A woman wanted police to remove another woman who wasn’t welcome off her property. Police told some kids not to play in the street on Fourth Street. A father called to complain that his 10-year -old son had bruises. The boy was living with his mother. Report of a fight at an apartment on Diane Road.

April 21

A man called to say his neighbor kept letting his three dogs loose through his yard. A woman called to say he wanted the cops around when she met a man who was flying into the airport on a helicopter. The man was going to give her money, for reasons that weren’t entirely clear. Report of a fight on Highway 2. Someone called to say they saw a tree fall on their neighbor’s car.

April 22

Remember those three dogs? They’re loose again on Hidden Cedar Loop. Two vehicle wreck with unknown injuries on Highway 2.

April 23

Someone called to report of a poor puppy being kicked out of an apartment with no food or water. Some shingles blew off a house into a neighbor’s yard. Rather than give them back, the neighbor put them in the shed. The reporting party wanted police to help getting them back. Two dogs were attacking another party’s dog, which was on a leash. Report of stolen cigars at a business.
