April 10
A business called police to have an employee removed. The man claimed the employees were upset because they had to pay for gambling winnings. The employees claimed he was verbally abusive. No arrest was made. A woman said someone broke into her house while she was asleep and may have defecated on her couch. A business owner called to say people were out on the back porch when it was closed and were drinking beer. Police responded to a disturbance at Mitchell Way. They were warned one occupant was a drug user and had plans to ambush police.
April 11
A student was worried that he would get beat up by classmates at the library. Police responded to a domestic dispute with a lot of yelling and dishes breaking and someone saying, “I am not psycho.” Police helped them separate and the woman left the residence.
April 12
A person complained that they were getting threatening phone calls. The caller kept saying he was going to “rough up” the caller. A man, who was probably drunk, kept resting in a business parking lot.
April 13
Report of a man sleeping on the sidewalk in front of Super 1 Foods. Kids may have stolen beer from Town Pump, though it was tough to tell if any was missing. Report of a man who just punched and window and had been drinking, but the woman didn’t want police, she just wanted to get the kids and leave. Report of three girls drunk in a parking lot, but after police checked them out, none had been drinking. A drunk woman was worried that she lost $700 she won at a restaurant casino. She also complained that police never help anyone. She was asked to sober up and file a report in the morning.
April 14
Report of a car with a broken out back window possibly scoping out a neighborhood. A man called to say he found the gun he thought he lost. A woman called to say the noisy neighbors kept waking up her baby.
April 15
A man chased after two others in black who were rifling through a neighbor’s truck. He couldn’t catch them. A landlord called to ask police what they could do to keep renters from destroying the house after the lease wasn’t renewed and the eviction process had begun.
April 16
Report of an 88-year-old unresponsive in a chair. Ambulance was called.
