Columbia Falls Academic Endowment fundraiser coming up

The Columbia Falls Academic Endowment fundraiser is Thursday, April 19 at the Cedar Creek Lodge.
All proceeds from this annual fundraiser support the Columbia Falls Alumni/Community Academic Endowment. The endowment helps fund “above and beyond” academic and artistic endeavors for Columbia Falls high school students. This year the endowment funded projects totaling nearly $25,000 including replacing antiquated science lab equipment, bringing Lego robotics training and materials to Columbia Falls, and purchasing equipment for a mobile media arts lab. It also funded numerous academic teams such as those who competed at Model UN and Academic World Quest.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the festivities beginning at 6 pm. The evening will feature student entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, cash wine and beer bar, and silent and live auctions. Tickets are available now from all endowment trustees and at the Columbia Falls High School office. Tickets can also be purchased for $10 at the door the night of the event, although organizers appreciate advance purchase for planning purposes.
