March 27

A person called to say someone was trying to rob their mother. Report of a 3 or 4 year old kid calling “Mommy” at an apartment complex. A rear-ender accident near Super 1 Foods, deployed air bag. One woman in car was pregnant. Grass Fire on Talbott Road. Was put out with a fire extinguisher.

March 28

Report of an erratic driver on Talbott Road that was “off her meds” with a child in the rig. A person called to say they were worried that a camper they bought was stolen out of Washington state. Report of a rig going over 70 mph through town.

March 29

A woman called to say her mother wanted her out of the house within 48 hours. She was told that’s against the law — the mother would have to go through an eviction process. Possible road rage on Nucleus Avenue. Neighbors were screaming at each other over a property line dispute.

March 30

A woman fell off her bike and was injured on Railroad Street. Report of a person heading toward town on Highway 206 that was doing 20 to 30 mph below the speed limit and swerving all over the road.

March 31

Report of a youth who took a relative’s car and later fled. A woman cut her wrist at Kokanee Bend Fishing access site in an apparent suicide attempt. She was taken to the hospital. Animal control was needed to get to a woman with a bloody nose. The dog wouldn’t let responders in the house.

Report of a person having a heart attack on Sixth Avenue.
