Columbia Falls psychic says she does more than predict the future

Columbia Falls now has its own psychic.

Rose Stuart recently opened up her shop on U.S. Highway 2, where she says she does more than just predict people’s futures. She said she’s an ordained minister, also marries people, does holistic and Reiki healing, and helps folks whose relationships may be on the rocks.

“I specialize in reuniting lovers,” she said during an interview last week.

Stuart has been a psychic for more than 30 years and started out her career in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In 2014 she opened a shop in Great Falls, which her daughter, Tiffany runs. Stuart said she also plans on opening another shop on Main Street in Kalispell in about six weeks.

She said she’s gotten some negative feedback since she moved here, particularly on Facebook, where people have left some “horrible messages” about her worshipping the devil.

“I’m not a devil woman,” she said. “I’m a very spiritual person.”

She said her work is her religion and she prays to God everyday.

“You can pray anywhere,” she said. “You don’t have to be in church to pray. The power of prayer is very strong.”

She’s also a cancer survivor — she had stage 3 colon cancer, she said.

People come to her for guidance in their lives, she noted. They come for a host of problems — love, family, drugs, alcohol.

“Mostly, they feel lost,” she said.

Her palm readings start out at $10 for a single palm, $20 for two.

She said she tries to teach people how to get the negative energy out of their lives.

Her shop also has metaphysical materials, like incense, essential oils and other items.

She said business has been good — two people showed up at her shop in the course of this interview for readings.

The shop is open six days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is closed on Tuesdays. She takes walk-ins, but suggests people get an appointment by calling her at (406) 866-0733.
