Columbia Falls crushed Ronan Friday away, 51-6, in a Northwestern A conference football drubbing.

Austin Green was 11 of 18 passing for 224 yards. Drew Morgan led the receiving corps with two catches for 80 yards and a touchdown. Devron Harris also had a touchdown on a 45-yard reception. Ben Windauer had five catches for 70 yards to round out the receiving leaders.

The Wildcats also had 222 yards rushing. Green rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns. Colten McPhee had 62 yards rushing and two touchdowns; Logan Kolodejchuk had 53 yards rushing and a touchdown and Easton Sempf rounded out the onslaught with 37 yards rushing.

Defensively, the Cats were stellar again, holding Ronan to just 118 yards passing and negative 32 yards rushing on 15 attempts.

The defense also picked off two Ronan passes and had a safety.

The Cats face Whitefish at home Friday. The Bulldogs lost to Polson last week, 16-10. Whitefish has won one game this season.

Columbia Falls is now 4-1 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.

A win against Whitefish would go a long way toward securing another Northwestern A conference crown for the Wildcats.
