Authorities are looking for a man wanted for attempted deliberate homicide.

Bryan McCully, 22, of Hungry Horse, allegedly stood outside while unloading more than two dozen bullets into an occupied residence in the Canyon area just before midnight Sept. 8.

The incident allegedly stemmed from an altercation McCully was involved in at a Hungry Horse bar earlier that evening.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office reported recovering 28 shell caseings from an automatic rifle at the crime scene. There were several people inside the home when it was shot at, according to Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry. No one was injured.

The Sheriff’s Office issued a $250,000 warrant for McCully’s arrest. Law enforcement officers believe McCully may still be in Columbia Falls or the Canyon area. If located, McCully should not be approached, law enforcement warns.

Anyone with information regarding McCully’s whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement or Flathead Crimestoppers at 406-752-TIPS.
