Glacier Twins win a pair

The Glacier Twins bagged two victories in Bozeman last weekend.

The Twins whipped Lewistown A 18-5 in the finale on Sunday, knocking out 23 hits. Columbia Falls High School sophomore Quintin Schriver had three hits in three plate appearances and doubled once. He had four RBIs.

The Twins scored in every inning.

Earlier on Sunday, Glacier had back-to-back three-run innings in the fifth and sixth to pull ahead of the Bozeman Bucks A for an 8-4 victory. Greyson Bistodeau of Columbia Falls had two hits.

Glacier started their Saturday by besting the Bitterroot Bucs A 8-2. Both Terek Bistodeau, who had two hits against Bitterroot, and Greyson Bistodeau doubled. The Twins (4-3) have a three-game Memorial Weekend Series with the Kalispell Lakers AA starting Saturday with a 7 p.m. nine-inning game at Griffin Field. The second game is Sunday at 7 p.m. in Whitefish and ends Monday with a 2 p.m. start in Kalispell.
