Community market

On Thursday at 5 p.m., the market at the Coop will have music by Erin and the Project, beer by Backslope Brewing, and spirits by Willie’s Distillery, sponsored by Three Rivers Bank to benefit Columbia Falls High School volleyball.

Free meal

Mountain goat video

The Montana House Regional Craft Shop in Apgar Village will host local photographer/videographer Sumio Harada in the newly completed Kintla Camp room on Saturday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. He will present video footage of mountain goats and other high country species. Memorial Day walk

On Monday, May 29, the American Legion Post 72 will host its second Honor and Remembrance Walk. Meet at the Super 1 parking lot at 11 a.m., walk to the the bridge, and be at the Veterans’ Wall by 12:30 p.m. Contact Michael Shepard at 250-9806.

Toastmasters turns 10

Plant walks

The Flathead Chapter of the Montana Native Plant Society invites the public on field trips. On Tuesday, May 30, take a walk on the Swan River Nature Trail. Meet at 10 a.m. between the Playhouse and Show Thyme Restaurant in Big Fork. Bring binoculars and a hand lens. Call 886-2242 for more information. On Thursday, June 1, hike the Sprunger-Whitney Nature Trail, starting at 10 a.m. at the trailhead. Call 886-2242 for directions.
