Tennis squads struggle against Whitefish, bounce back at Broncs

With a few days of sunny weather, the Columbia Falls tennis squads finally got some action on the courts.

On Thursday, both squads lost to Whitefish at Flathead Valley Community College, 6-1, 7-0.

In No. 2 singles, Anna Pickard dropped Savannah Krause, 6-3, 6-4 for the Wildkats lone win.

On Saturday, the girls lost to Corvallis, 5-2, but beat Hamilton 5-2.

The boys had a tougher time, losing 6-1 to Corvallis and 7-0 to Hamilton.

The squads face Polson away Thursday and then host Stevensville at home Saturday at 3 p.m. to wrap up the regular season.
